Turn HEIC Photos into PNG
iPhones and iPads save photos as HEIC (HEIF), a format that Windows, many Android phones, editors and websites can't open. Upload one or more HEIC photos and this tool converts each of them to a PNG file in full quality — lossless, so no detail is lost, and ready to edit, print or share. The rotation stored in the photo is applied, so pictures come out upright.
The images are uploaded over an encrypted connection and converted on our server. The images and the results are stored for 48 hours and then deleted automatically — or you can delete them yourself at any time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this HEIC to PNG converter free?
Yes, converting your HEIC photos to PNG is completely free.
Should I convert HEIC to PNG or to JPG?
PNG is lossless, so it keeps every detail of the photo — good for editing and printing — but the files are large. JPG files are several times smaller and are the better choice for sharing and uploading photos; use the HEIC to JPG converter for that.
Why can't I see a preview of my HEIC photos?
Most browsers can't display HEIC images, so the list shows an icon instead of a thumbnail. The photos are converted on our server, which reads HEIC without problems.
Is my file kept private?
Files are transferred over an encrypted connection and processed on our server. Uploaded files and results are stored for 48 hours, so you can download the result via its link, and are then deleted automatically. You can delete them yourself at any time with the delete button in the “Your files” list.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
There is no fixed limit on the number of images, but very large batches take longer to upload and convert.
