What exactly is compared?
The text of the documents, word by word. Changes in images, colors, fonts or layout are not detected — only differences in the words themselves.
Can I compare scanned documents?
Only if the scan contains a text layer. A plain scan is just a picture of the page with no text to compare — run it through OCR first (for example, with our PDF to Text tool).
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, each uploaded PDF file must be 1 GB or smaller.
