BMP stores every pixel without compression, so the image is exactly what was rendered, and it opens in practically any software — Windows Paint, old graphics editors, office programs, embedded devices and machines that don't read PNG or JPG. In the settings you can choose the resolution, the pages and the image size.

The conversion happens on our server: your file is uploaded, converted, and the resulting image (or ZIP archive of images) is streamed back to you for download. Your files are then kept for 48 hours and deleted automatically — or you can delete them yourself at any time.

What happens with multi-page PDFs?

Each page is converted to its own BMP image, and all of them are packed into a single ZIP archive for download. Single-page PDFs download as one BMP image directly. BMP files are much larger than PNG or JPG — lower the resolution in the settings, or choose PDF to PNG if you don't need BMP specifically.

Is my file kept private?

Files are transferred over an encrypted connection and processed on our server. Uploaded files and results are stored for 48 hours, so you can download the result via its link, and are then deleted automatically. You can delete them yourself at any time with the delete button in the “Your files” list.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes, uploaded PDF files must be 1 GB or smaller.
