Extract Plain Text from a PDF
Upload any PDF file and this tool extracts its text content into a plain .txt file. It's useful for copying content into another document, searching or indexing the text, or feeding it into another tool that doesn't understand PDF.
The conversion happens on our server: your file is uploaded, its text is extracted, and the resulting .txt file is streamed back to you for download. Your files are then kept for 48 hours and deleted automatically — or you can delete them yourself at any time.
