Why does the GIF look less smooth than the JPG?
GIF can show at most 256 colours per frame, while a JPG photo has millions. Keep dithering on for smoother gradients; for photos without animation, PNG or WebP keep the quality better.
In which order are the frames of the animation?
In the order you added the images. To change the order, remove the images and add them again in the order you want.
Is my file kept private?
Files are transferred over an encrypted connection and processed on our server. Uploaded files and results are stored for 48 hours, so you can download the result via its link, and are then deleted automatically. You can delete them yourself at any time with the delete button in the “Your files” list.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
There is no fixed limit on the number of images, but very large batches take longer to upload and convert.
