Convert PDF Documents to Kindle E-Books
A PDF has fixed pages that are hard to read on a small e-reader screen. This tool extracts the text and images of your PDF and builds an AZW3 (Kindle Format 8) e-book from them: the text flows to fit the screen, and you can change the font and its size on your Kindle. The book gets the name of your file as its title. For scanned PDFs, turn on text recognition (OCR) in the settings.
The conversion happens on our server: your file is uploaded, converted, and the resulting AZW3 file is streamed back to you for download. Your files are then kept for 48 hours and deleted automatically — or you can delete them yourself at any time.

Yes, converting your PDF files to AZW3 is completely free.
How do I put the book on my Kindle?
Connect the Kindle to your computer with a USB cable and copy the AZW3 file into its "documents" folder — the book appears in your library. Amazon's Send to Kindle service doesn't accept AZW3 files; for sending by email or app, convert PDF to EPUB instead.
Is my file kept private?
Files are transferred over an encrypted connection and processed on our server. Uploaded files and results are stored for 48 hours, so you can download the result via its link, and are then deleted automatically. You can delete them yourself at any time with the delete button in the “Your files” list.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes, uploaded PDF files must be 1 GB or smaller.
